Pupils that started their Advanced Course for Golf Course Management, 2016-17 edition, in October 2016, have just successfully finished their training.
In order to complete the course, after 300 hours of theoretical training and 720 hours of practical training, on a variety of golf courses, our pupils had to present their end of course project before a board of examiners. The projects have been prepared throughout the course at the hands of the best professionals in the industry and under the supervision of tutors Álvarez Escobar (President of the Spanish Association for Managers of Golf Courses and Director of Royal Guadalhorce Golf Club) and Antonio Conde Galdó (CEO of GOLFBOO and Golfenred, companies specialised in golf commercialisation and marketing).
“The quality of some of the projects that the pupils have presented is incredible. While it is true that the level that we ask from our pupils is high, what is learnt through 300 hours of theory and more than 700 practical hours is something worthy of admiration and this is due to the performance, hope and desire of the students and the experience and specialisation of the teachers and the great personalised work of the tutors”, comments Salvador Álvarez, codirector of the course.
Special thanks to the tutors and to all the great professionals that assisted as tutors throughout the course, providing our students with their knowledge and experiences from many years in their respective positions.

Congratulations to all the pupils for their effort and dedication during the course both in person and online via the video conference format and encouragement to those that will return to defend their projects in September.
To emphasise also how our method of teaching and continuing with online classes has lead to the presentation of great projects from pupils who primarily followed this route, offering proof of the effectiveness of our mixed system of being present/following online classes via live or prerecorded video conferences. “The use of online classes is perfect. It is as if you are really in the class participating and interacting with your classmates and with the tutors” asserted one of the pupils that had followed the course via video conference.
In other news, we also want to communicate that places for registration for the next course promotion 2017/18 that will start in October 2017 are now open. Places are limited. You can access all the information about the course and the registration process from the following links:
