Salvador Alvarez treasures one of the most brilliant careers related to the management and operation of golf courses. In addition to chairing the Spanish Association of Golf Course Managers, he has always been linked to teaching and strategic consulting for golf courses, creating a whole school for many of the managers and directors who are working today in the world of golf. Currently he is the General Manager at Guadalhorce Golf Club.
Antonio Conde burst into the golf industry a few years ago revolutionizing the marketing methods for golf courses, especially the online channel. He is an expert in optimizing the channels that the internet makes available to this industry. Besides launching constantly new projects linked to the golf like GOLFBOO.com, he has directed for various years one of the courses with major commercial projection within the golf industry.
Training and professional development of managers and future managers of golf courses is one of the key objectives of the Association. To this end the Association has included in its training program this course for golf course management, which aims to cover all aspects related to the preparation of the director or assistant manager of a golf club, as well as for other positions typical at a golf course. The intention is to promote a job market that is supervised and endorsed by the Managing Board, always providing an ethical code.

The Spanish Association of Golf Course Managers is formed to promote and defend the professional and corporative interests of their partners, the directors and managers of golf clubs and courses. Its main purpose is to organize, promote, develop and represent the profession of the directors and/or managers of golf clubs and courses, monitoring (watching over) the professional and ethical standards of its members
Training and professional development are key objectives of the Association that shall develop and promote a series of training sessions, conferences, educational programs … on its own or in collaboration with other institutions cover, if possible, all aspects related to the preparation of the director or assistant manager of a golf club, as well as for other positions typical at a golf course. The intention is to promote a job market that is supervised and endorsed by the Managing Board, always considering the ethical code of the association.
The code of ethics of the AEGG aims to promote and maintain the highest professional standards of service and conduct among the members of the Association. Compliance accords recognition and respect for its members and therefore the association itself.
To enhance the professional standard of its members, the Association develops or recognizes a specific qualification in golf course management and administration in the belief that continuous professional development is the key objective of a professional. Such qualification, for those who do not have the required seniority, shall be obtained by completing courses offered by the association itself, golf federations or other institutions with which agreements are reached.
